Purposeful, engaging training

Your people have the technical skills that got them promoted.
This is about the skills that make them effective once they're there.

Focused training modules in leadership, feedback culture, and team dynamics. Practical, evidence-based, and designed to create behaviour change that shows up on Monday morning.

Building high-trust relationships

For organisations that want to deepen their pool of effective leaders who lead and motivate without burning out or backing off.

Self-aware leadership: Understand your default style and how it lands on others. Leave with a style diagnostic and one specific adjustment to make this week.

Delegation and adaptive leadership: Meet people where they are and release control without losing direction. Leave with a delegation plan for a real task: what, why, boundaries, and support.

Coaching for capability: Develop people through conversation, not instruction. Leave with a mapped coaching conversation and your opening questions ready.

Feedback as fuel: Drive performance by saying the things that matter with clarity and care. Leave with a feedback plan and a set of conversation starters.

Career conversations that motivate: Invest in people's futures, not just their current performance. Leave with a career plan template and three questions to open a real conversation.

Leading high-trust teams

For leaders ready to turn individual talent into collective performance, set a clear direction and build high trust teams.

A foundation of psychological safety: Explore the conditions that make everything else possible. Leave with a start, stop, continue assessment to apply immediately.

From individual talent to team performance: How groups become teams and why it doesn't happen by accident. Leave with a set of team norms and a facilitation plan to introduce them.

Clarity, coordination & trust in modern teams: Practical tools for teams that are complex, busy and not always in the same room. Leave with a structured plan to define, diagnose, and solve business challenges.

Decisions, direction and letting go: How teams decide and move forward with ownership, input and communication. Leave with a decision map for an upcoming choice.

Managing tension productively: Conflict as a feature of high performing teams, not a failure. Leave with a restorative conversation plan for a live tension in their team.

How the modules work

  • Two hours each. Short enough for busy diaries, long enough to practise skills.

  • Sessions are briefed in advance so the scenarios and examples fit your organisation's reality, not a generic case study.

  • Modules can be taken individually or combined into half or full-day sessions.

Working at organisational scale?

Matt also works with senior leadership teams on culture, strategy and organisational development. This work is bespoke by design. The challenges are too specific to package into a standard module. Matt designs thoughtful leadership days, strategy sessions, and embedded L&D partnerships. Get in touch to start a conversation.

Not sure which modules fit? Most organisations start by describing the problem they're trying to solve, and work backwards from there. That's exactly the kind of conversation Matt is good at.
