Matt has built his consultancy around his role as Head of L&D at Nesta Group, the UK's innovation agency, home of the Behavioural Insights Team. His thinking is tested in a real organisation every day, not theorised from a distance.

Before Nesta, Matt spent 18 years in schools, first in the classroom, then as a school leader managing the complex dynamics of students, staff, and families.

This broad and deep experiences gives Matt a genuine, frontline understanding of how people actually learn and what it costs an organisation when they're left to figure it out alone.
